auto.allops.us's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Google user data obtained through Google OAuth authorization is strictly utilized to provide the core user-facing workflow functionality requested by the application owner. It is never transferred to external third parties, used for serving advertisements, or repurposed for training artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
1. Overview and Non-Commercial Nature
AllOps.us is a personal, non-commercial DevOps technical knowledge base and self-hosted platform operated by the site maintainer. This website does not sell goods, subscriptions, or services.
This Privacy Policy governs your use of allops.us and its associated self-hosted subdomains, specifically including auto.allops.us (a self-hosted workflow automation platform built on n8n).
2. Information Collection and Google Data
We adhere to strict data minimization principles. We only collect or access information strictly necessary to execute the personal automation workflows explicitly configured by the user:
- Google OAuth Authentication Data: When connecting a Google account to auto.allops.us, temporary OAuth 2.0 access and refresh tokens are acquired. These tokens are stored encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption within our private Kubernetes cluster database.
- Gmail Message Content: In accordance with authorized scopes (such as
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly), the application fetches specific incoming emails matching user-defined search queries to extract notification digests and forward messages. - Technical Logs: Server and container execution logs tracking workflow run timestamps, execution status (success/failure), and diagnostic error codes.
3. How We Use Collected Information
Any information accessed by auto.allops.us is processed exclusively for the following purposes:
- To fetch automated infrastructure alerts, status reports, and service digests from Gmail.
- To execute user-defined workflow actions, such as formatting and forwarding alerts to designated private webhook endpoints.
- To mark processed messages with internal labels to prevent duplicate processing.
4. Absolute Non-Sharing and Non-Sale of Data
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share any user information or Google data with any third-party advertisers, commercial entities, or data brokers.
We do not use Google user data to train, retrain, or fine-tune any artificial intelligence, machine learning, or large language models (LLMs).
5. Data Storage, Retention, and Deletion
All data resides exclusively on private, self-hosted Kubernetes nodes operated by the maintainer. We maintain strict retention limits:
- Execution Logs: Workflow execution logs and parsed message snippets are automatically purged after 7 days.
- OAuth Tokens: Stored securely until manually deleted by the administrator or revoked.
- Revoking Access: You can revoke auto.allops.us's access to your Google Account at any time through the official Google Account Security Permissions page. Upon revocation, all associated tokens become immediately unusable.
6. Security Protocols
We implement industry-standard defense-in-depth measures to safeguard your information:
- Enforced TLS 1.3 encryption across all public endpoints with automated Let's Encrypt certificates.
- Database credential vaulting with AES-256 encryption for stored tokens.
- Isolated container namespaces and non-root execution privileges within Kubernetes.
